Parenting is one of the hardest and biggest responsibilities that one has to face. For all the new parents the focus all of sudden shifts to that one little infant. The little ones always bring the hope of a brighter and happier future for the family. Hence, most parents ends up mollycoddling their babies, which in turn proves to be a huge mistake. Pampering your child is good but overindulging them in anything is bad. Not only bad but a worst possible mistake according to correct parenting laws. By all means it is fine to give your children what their hearts desire but, one should learn where and when to draw the lines.
Due to mollycoddling and helicopter parenting, various schools across UK have complained of students who are unruly and wild. These children are the ones who were never taught the essence of a ‘No’ in their childhood. Researchers believe this is due to the so called helicopter parenting which fuels the little emperor syndrome in these kids.
Research shows that these children tend to behave rudely even to the teachers and are not able to cope up in school due to the fact that they have never learnt how to respond to not being the only priority. This shows the lack of moral teaching at home which is why children get thrown out of schools even. Sadly the numbers of such cases are on a rise and have become a concern.
Is mollycoddling your child all so necessary when it might land your child in trouble in the real world!
