Taylor Swift is yet again in the headlines. This time not for long list of lovers. A former radio host David Mueller who is also known as Jackson has allegedly fined a suit against Swift., her mother and her radio promotions director Frank Bell for slander and for interfering with his employment.
In 2013 during a meet and greet held by Tay Tay at Denver’s Pepsi Centre, Mueller put his hand under Swift’s skirt and allegedly grabbed her bare buttocks while taking a picture with her and his then girlfriend. Swift then proceeded to tell the unfortunate incident to her mother and the management team who went on to inform this matter to Mueller’s boss. His boss held a 2 day investigation and finally Mueller was fired.
In 2015, Mueller accused the Grammy winner of framing him in a wrong manner and eventually for losing his job and a yearly contract of $150,000. He slapped $3 million compensation suit from Taylor. Swift on the other hand counter suited against Mueller for his inappropriate groping behaviour only for $1. Gabriel McFarland, attorney for Mueller argued that the photograph of Mueller and Swift doesn’t show her reacting as if he had groped her, he also argued that none of the witnesses gave any indication whatsoever of his client having bent down to get under the bad blood hit maker’s skirt.
Taylor is dismissed as a defendant due to the fact that there was insufficient evidence to show she acted improperly but, the singer’s mother Andrea and Bell are still defendants. Greg Dent, Swift’s bodyguard testified that he witnessed Mueller reaching his hand under Swift’s skirt and that she was uncomfortable with the whole ordeal. The photographer who took the picture also witnessed that she saw the alleged groping.
